Frequently asked questions

Your question isn't here? The full guide covers every rule.

Viewers

Do I need an account to play?
No. You just need to be logged in to Twitch and let the extension know your username, to save your points and show you on the leaderboard.
Why isn't my cell validated?
A cell is only won if a moderator validated the event and your 10-second selection completes. A debuff can also get in the way: blocked cell, frozen grid… See the full rules.
My friends don't have the same grid as me, is that normal?
Yes: each player gets a random grid drawn from the streamer's list of events.
Can I play on mobile?
Yes, Bungo also works in the Twitch mobile app.
Do viewers have to pay for Bungo?
No, playing is completely free.
How do I protect myself from sabotage?
With defense powers: Immunity, Insurance, Return to Sender or Absolute Counter. “Purge” powers also remove debuffs you already received. See all powers.

Streamers

How many events do I need to create?
At least 9, to fill a 3×3 grid. The more you add, the more varied your viewers' grids are, and some powers that replace cells are only available with more events.
What's the difference between “First Bungo” and “Continuous”?
“First Bungo” ends as soon as a player completes a line. “Continuous” lasts as long as you want, with points per event and a final leaderboard. See game modes.
Can I remove some powers?
Yes: in the configuration, the “Powers” section lets you disable powers and adjust the chances of each rarity.
Can my moderators play?
Yes, if you choose the “players and validators” role. They validate events with a right click and play their own grid with a left click.
How do I show the winner on my stream?
With the OBS / Streamlabs alert, set up in the extension. Follow the alert guide.
Can I change my events during a game?
Yes, but saving the configuration stops the current game and resets every grid. Better prepare your events before going live.
